Speedy Gonzales

I don't know what has gotten into me?  I ran 5 miles in 43 minutes!  That's an 8.6 minute mile, which is really good for me!  I normally don't wear a watch, or keep track of my time, but today, for some odd reason I felt the need to do so.  I'm glad I did, considering the time!  I have to wonder if my pace has gotten faster this season?  Either way, I'm not complaining.  I don't expect it to stay this way with the hot weather approaching. 

Today was about 23 degrees, give or take a degree or two.  At one point I had to transform my "Buff" from a headband that was covering my ears to a full blown hat and face mask, because I was so cold.  This subsided once I made my way around the bend of the Lake.  I have to say I'm in LOVE with my "Buff".  I own 3 of them now and I can't imagine running without it!  It keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It can be transformed into, I believe like 10 different things, from headband, to bandana, to hat to facemask, I could probaby even wear this thing as a tube top!  Anyway, check out http://www.buff.eu/en/USA to see what I'm talking about!  It's worth the $20, trust me!
