They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Solo Run

I just got home from a 6 mile run... alone.  Well, I shouldn't say "alone"; perhaps "dogless" would be more appropriate.  The sun was shining, which I believe brought out a few more freckles on my face!

The thermometer is saying it's 23 degrees out.  I wish I would've checked this before my run, the sun can be so deceiving.  I didn't wear a face mask and can feel that my lungs are a little chilled.  I'm making a pot of tea in hopes to warm up my body from the inside out.

Mizuno Running Shoes, (my favorite)

I ordered another pair of running shoes this afternoon.  It's always an exciting moment to get new shoes in the mail.  The thing I like about Mizuno Running Shoes is the fact that I don't have to break them in, or it doesn't feel that way anyway.  They're extremely light weight and breathable.  These shoes are from last year, I never took off my Marathon Chip, I guess it's a piece of memorabilia that I like to hold onto! ;0)

I ran by the trail in hopes to see some pavement poking through, no such luck.  I'm really craving some warmer temps, but most of all craving the woods.  I don't enjoy smelling exhaust or getting a wiff of a cigarette from a person smoking in their car.  Daylight Savings time is approaching, which means spring is near!  I can't wait!
