I'm currently feasting on the juicy Turkey and stuffing that's been cooking in my oven all afternoon, a perfect way to end a 9 mile run I must say! I think this whole Turkey dinner idea is something to which I could become accustomed! Although any food after a long run tastes good in my eyes, this on the other hand is exceptional!
I had the blessing of a running partner today, which was a wonderful change of pace, in fact I think my "pace" did change in the end. I'm not sure on the exact time, but I believe we ran 9 miles in one hour and 20 minutes. Luckily, Will looked at the clock before we walked out the door. It was so refreshing to have the miles fly by while enjoying a conversation, especially a "getting to know you" conversation. Did I mention that running is a perfect time to "get to know someone"? The sun was shining which kept us warm considering the 28 degree day and the cool breeze. I'm looking forward to yet another "long run" this coming up weekend. Happy running!
